Street violence is a part of French political culture. Riots don't bother them. They're just a type of public event with flexible dates.
For them, republican freedom equals violence, and any threat to their right to violence is deemed an attack on the republic.
Through this lens, migrant riots are actually proof of assimilation into French society. 'They’re already burning down buildings just like us, they can pick up the language later.'
