"...Three Sisters' Story will run stably under Windows95 as stated in the
manual running in full screen mode. It can be played in a window, but the
performance is unacceptably slow, and you may experience instability.
WARNING : If you minimize the Window, you WILL crash your system!
It is best that you run the game only in Full Screen Mode.
The problem is with the instant of loading -- Windows95's memory allocation
can interfere with the program, causing the program to halt operation. If
this happens, close out the halted game by pressing <ALT> + <ENTER>, then
closing the window normally. Try again to start. It can take several
attempts for Windows95 to allow the program to load normally.
WHY ARE THERE INCOMPATIBILITIES?
Currently, most games in Japan are written in DOS, and are not designed
to run under environments such as Windows95. Basically, Japan is a few years
behind the U.S. with respect to adoption of Windows software, and all around "savvyiness" of computers and software in general.
The main cause of this is due to the much higher price of computers over
the past 10 years, so that the average PC in Japan had much less power than
what the average American could buy. Also, MS-DOS and Windows have not been standardized in Japan. This is changing, but slowly.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

ONCE-ONLY LOADING
If you play Three Sisters' Story in Windows95 then quit, you will not
be able to play it again unless you reboot your system. This is normal and
does not happen in DOS or Windows95 in DOS-MODE. If you play the game in Windows95, then RESTART in "DOS-MODE", you will STILL not be able to play again without a real reboot.
